Zijad Salkica, Founder

Hello! I'm a dedicated fitness coach with over 6 years of experience. Originally from Bosnia, I've called Canada home since 2016. My journey began in soccer and evolved into a passion for martial arts, including boxing and MMA. As a well-rounded certified conditioning and strength coach, I specialize in functional and bodyweight training, along with CrossFit.

I train everyone, especially beginners, showing them the way, regardless of their fitness level. I design dynamic, individualized workouts to build strength and enhance athletic performance. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of community, prompting me to offer online coaching and group classes via Zoom. I’ve successfully guided hundreds of clients through transformations focused on muscle gain, weight loss, and overall health.

Fitness is about fostering a healthier lifestyle, and I provide customized workout plans and nutrition guides to keep you motivated and accountable. I'm committed to inspiring others . Lets embark on this journey and make a difference together!

My sporting journey began in the competitive world of European football, where I dedicated myself to honing my skills and pushing my limits. Over two decades, I developed exceptional footwork, coordination, and endurance, becoming a player capable of thriving in rigorous matches and high-pressure situations. Through teamwork, I formed lasting connections with many talented players, some of whom have risen to stardom today. This experience taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, dedication, and self-belief—qualities that have shaped my character and fueled my passion for sports.

In 2019, I embarked on my coaching career, eager to share my knowledge and experience with others. I began with athletics training and CrossFit after obtaining my certification. As I progressed, I concentrated on strength and conditioning workouts, emphasizing functional training methodologies. While my specialty lies in functional workouts, I also coach numerous individuals in preparation for Hyrox competitions, helping them develop their endurance and performance.

Martial Arts

My journey took an exciting turn when I discovered a martial arts gym known as "Three Headed Beast." Here, I dove into boxing, participating in few matches to test my skills. Currently, I'm learning Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and have been coaching cardio boxing and kickboxing for over a year at the gym. With my sights set high, I aspire to step into the cage and compete soon.
